What file types does the application generate

Each conversion produces one main file and optional back-up artefacts.

SEPA XML

  • pain.001.001.03 (2009 release, the most widespread in Spain).
  • pain.001.001.09 (2019 release, updated ISO 20022 — used by some EU banks).
  • pain.008.001.02 (CORE and B2B direct debits).
  • pain.008.001.08 (2019 direct-debit release).

Pick the version on the final step. Most Spanish banks still expect .03 and .02.

Norma 19 / Norma 34 fallback

If your bank still does not accept SEPA XML, we can produce a back-compatible Norma 19 or 34.

Batch PDF summary

Human-readable summary with totals, file hash and presenter details. Handy for accounting archives and audits.

Validity

Every file we ship passes the official ISO 20022 XSD validation before download.

Conclusion

Whatever your bank, we ship the right file. If you are unsure which version to pick, ask your bank or contact our support.

Frequently Asked Questions

My bank asks for pain.001.001.09 but the converter only gave me .03 — what now?
Pick '.09' on the version dropdown when downloading. We support both.
Why a PDF besides the XML?
The XML is for the bank; the PDF is for your accounting archive. It includes the file hash and signature.
Do you generate Norma 19?
Yes, in case your bank does not accept SEPA XML directly yet.
