What are company profiles?

A company profile stores the fixed data of the originator or creditor (VAT, IBAN, SEPA identifier, address) so you don’t have to re-enter it for each conversion.

TL;DR

  • One profile = one VAT + one bank account + one SEPA identifier.
  • If you have several accounts or suffixes, create one profile per combination.
  • Each conversion is linked to a profile.

Profile data

  • Legal company name.
  • VAT number.
  • SEPA identifier (originator ID and/or CID).
  • Sender IBAN.
  • Postal address (optional, recommended for B2B).

Conclusion

Set up your profiles once and reuse. If you manage several companies, one account is enough.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a profile per bank?
Per distinct IBAN, yes. That way the SEPA XML always carries the correct originator IBAN.
Can I edit a profile?
Yes. If your legal name or address changes, edit the profile and subsequent files will pick it up.
Does profile data appear in the SEPA XML?
Yes. It forms the InitgPty/CdtrSchmeId block of the file.
